The LEM-Learning Museum Project announced the publication of the report “The Virtual Museum”, illustrating the main insights of the Kenneth Hudson Seminar 2011, organised by the LEM Partners, Istituto Beni Culturali and European Museum Academy, on 18th November 2011. The book collects experts’ contributions to reflect both on how technology is changing museums, and how museums must become learning organisations in order to use and exploit the new technologies.
This is the first of seven reports produced within the framework of the five LEM Working groups; these publications will contain both outcomes of the research as well as seminars or conferences proceedings. You can access here the LEM website to download the book.
