The Brunel Law School, in collaboration with the Brunel Human Rights Centre and the URC Human rights, Security and the Media, is inviting you to attend a Day Conference on Culture on the Move: Migration & Cultural Heritage’ which will take place at Brunel University campus (Hamilton centre), UK on the 29 May 2015. The Conference is exploring the links between migration, cultural heritage and living traditions –particularly artistic expressions, music, oral traditions, religion & folklore, cuisine, and other forms of tangible and intangible heritage. Perla spoke about ‘Migrating Heritage and approaches to digital storytelling’ and liaised with scholars and practitioners from economics, sociology, cultural heritage, museums, ICT and governmental organizations.

MeLa RF03 paper accepted at Digital Heritage International Congress, Marseille, France, 28 October-1 November 2013

The MeLa paper ‘Migrating heritage, digital cultural networks and social inclusion in Europe’, authored by MeLa RF03 leader Perla Innocenti (University of Glasgow) has been accepted for presentation and publication as full paper in the Digital Cultural Heritage International Congress in Marseille, France, 28 October-1 November 2013 !

The event is organised by the French Ministry of Culture, French National Research Council and MuCEM, among others. MeLa RF03 paper was one of more than 600 submissions, with a 24% acceptance rate.
